Shira Levine is a storyteller, strategist, and communications specialist.
Working as a journalist and columnist, her expertise lies in travel, small business, real estate, luxury, and popular culture. Shira’s contributed to a number of print and online publications which include, but aren’t limited to: New York, Details, Men’s Fitness, Whole Living, Endless Vacation, Business Insider/American Express Open, The New York Times Local, Fox, New York Post, Metro, Pride, Accent and Forum.
Shira consults for the United Nations agency, UNFPA. She is currently project managing and creative directing an online interactive storytelling tool, which she conceptualized, that addresses urgent key issues within the thematic topics of dignity, human rights, health, and sustainability, through the development of fictional character narratives. She is co-producing and project managing a youth and aging-focused initiative titled, “Innovators for Humanity” with media partner National Geographic. Shira is also a highly engaging and responsive online facilitator who designed social media and communication curricula for women in the Global South working within civil society organizations.
